The Shad Impact required a lot of research and meticulousness to produce a lure that maintains a permanent horizontal posture. This was achieved by combining several types of plastics with different densities. The back of the Shad Impact is made of a light, floating plastic material that does not contain salt, while the belly of the Shad Impact is made of a denser plastic material containing salt. This combination guarantees perfect balance for this soft lure. The Shad Impact stays upright in a permanent horizontal position, exactly like a fish stabilized in the current, in an ideal position to be attacked by a predator. When twitched, the Shad Impact makes sudden movements, imitating a panicked fish. When retrieved extra slowly in calm waters, the Shad Impact proves to be formidable. The Shad Impact contains natural squid attractants which have been incorporated directly into the material. Keitech achieves extraordinary colors thanks to its double mold process.
