PL 110 Splash

The Babyface PL110 Splash is an innovative topwater lure designed to perfectly imitate the frantic escape of a baitfish being pursued by a predator. Its unique feature is the Splash Wing located under its chin, which generates bubbles and water splashes with each retrieve, enhancing its realism and attractiveness.

When worked in a "walking the dog" retrieve, the PL110 Splash produces a unique erratic swim, combining lateral and vertical movements. This three-dimensional motion, dubbed "3D Dog Walk" by Babyface, creates strong visual and hydrodynamic stimuli capable of triggering strikes from fish positioned just below the surface, even when they are hesitant to rise aggressively.

Its fixed rear weight allows it to float almost vertically during pauses. This natural posture makes it easier for predators to inhale the lure and allows for instant resumption of the retrieve without loss of effectiveness.
