This new generation of GUNKI spinning reels, with a sleek design perfectly matched to the CHOOTEN CUT rods, represents an evolution of the high-end THG models. Available in three sizes, they benefit from specifically adjusted spool capacities to optimize the use of the recommended line diameter for each model.

The 1000 size is ideal for vertical fishing. The 1500 is perfect for finesse approaches and lure fishing in small streams. The 2500 is designed for light to medium-heavy fishing requiring variable retrieval speeds and optimal control.

With remarkable fluidity, these reels offer exceptional spinning smoothness. To contain the pressure exerted on the body and rotor and optimize performance during fishing, they are designed from a composite material heavily loaded with carbon. This technical choice guarantees an excellent rigidity/lightness ratio, for durable, thin-lined reels, while remaining particularly light.

The handle, directly screwed onto the drive gear, eliminates any play during retrieval and provides a significant increase in power under tension, particularly appreciated during fights. The multi-disc drag system equipped with a carbon disc is both progressive and micrometric. Protected by a seal, it ensures consistent and precise adjustment whatever the weather conditions.

The "shallow spool" aluminum spool features LC Lips for smoother line release to improve casting distance and accuracy. The Ultra S-Curve oscillation system ensures regular cross-wound line lay, limiting tangles and optimizing line exit. The oversized titanium line roller reduces the risk of twisting, while the long-lasting bail spring enhances overall reliability.
