Description
Description
The MAEKON 180 SF is a two-piece jointed swimbait, featuring the unique "Mono Flex Joint System" articulation system. This clever and innovative system significantly improves swimming action, allowing more body freedom as the rear section with its tail provides a delayed rolling action and additional attraction during attack phases. Several types of retrieve are possible for the MAEKON 180 SF: stop & go (near structures) or a slow to medium continuous linear retrieve to effectively prospect weed beds or parallel to the bank. When retrieved linearly, its movement produces a powerful "wobbling" action similar to the feel of a large crankbait. Its fish-like tail increases its realism and brings it to life during pauses or line twitches. Its medium size is versatile for a swimbait and allows the use of a "Medium Heavy" spinning or baitcasting rod. Due to its strong "Rolling" action and its ability to displace a large volume of water on continuous linear retrieves, European pike and specimen black bass anglers will quickly adopt this lure for all prospecting fishing, regardless of the size of the environment. We recommend adding a "John Weight" sinker to modify its density, making it "Suspending," slow sinking, or faster sinking, making the MAEKON 180 SF more versatile.
