Description
The Dolive Shot is a "hybrid" lure, half soft jerkbait, half tube, which can be rigged classic Texas, Back Slide, or on a jig head; heavily salted, it is of course used weightless. In Back Slide (inverted Texas hook), the Dolive Shot produces a subtle rolling action on the fall, and its skirt opens with each twitch, mimicking a cephalopod or a fleeing crayfish. This is the ideal technique for getting under surface obstacles (foliage, weed beds, pontoons, etc.). In classic weightless rigging, its swimming action resembles that of the Dolive Stick and imitates a forage fish. The Dolive Shot skips perfectly and slips through vegetation thanks to its shape and very flexible tail; it is rigged with a 4/0 Texas hook.
