BLADE BLASTER - 0.49 oz

The BLADE BLASTER sets a new standard for fishing shallow areas, weed beds, and vegetation. This bladed jig is the result of a collaboration between ILLEX Pro Staff angler Marc Ptacovsky and product manager Thomas Vogels.

The objective was to combine two types of lures into one. The head borrows its shape from the JUNGLE BLASTER swim jig, known for its ability to glide over obstacles and effectively penetrate weed beds. This base has been combined with a specially designed metal blade to emit powerful attractive signals and transmit intense vibration to the voluminous silicone skirt, which activates as soon as it enters the water.

The skirt is secured with a stainless steel wire ligature to increase its durability against pike attacks. An eyelet placed under the head allows for the addition of an extra blade or an ILLEX JOHN WEIGHT sinker to adjust the swimming depth according to conditions.

The BLADE BLASTER can be equipped with a soft plastic trailer to enhance its volume and presence. It accommodates pin tail models like the MAGIC SWING TAIL 4 or 5, shads like the MAGIC SLIM SHAD 4 or 5, as well as crayfish imitations like the CHUNK CRAW.

Designed lead-free, it was primarily conceived for pike fishing, while remaining remarkably effective on other species such as perch, black bass, zander, or catfish.
