The Daiwa 24 Certate embodies the continuous evolution of an iconic model since 2004. A benchmark at Daiwa, it incorporates the brand's major innovations over generations, from the Real Four concept to Monocoque, and finally the latest Airdrive Design.

This 2024 version is the culmination of many years of developments, offering an optimal balance between smoothness, power, and control. Designed to meet the highest demands, it allows for both delicate fishing and the most intense fights, with sizes ranging from 2000 to 4000.

The Airdrive Design concept focuses on the front part of the reel with extensive work on the rotor, spool, shaft, and bail arm. This design improves maneuverability while maintaining high rigidity and power.

The aluminum Monocoque body provides remarkable solidity. Its structure allows for the integration of a larger diameter drive gear, increasing power and durability while limiting deformation under stress.

The internal mechanics are based on a Tough Digigear drive gear made of duralumin, cold-forged and precision-machined to guarantee robustness and longevity. On some sizes, a high-resistance pinion from the Saltiga range further reinforces reliability.
