The Exsence Silent Assassin 99 is the most technologically advanced bass lure Shimano has ever produced. Available in suspending and sinking versions, it features Flash Boost, Jet Boost and Scale Boost technologies and has the most aggressive action of the Assassin lure family.
If you want the ultimate bass lure, the Exsence Silent Assassin 99 should be at the top of your list. Available in suspending (SP) and sinking (S) versions, this 99mm long bass hunter features Jet Boost technology for increased casting performance - perfect when fish are feeding at a distance. Flash Boost increases attraction by reflecting light, even when stationary, and the realistic Scale Boost pattern appeals to the predatory instincts of the bass's superior eyesight. By using a steady retrieve, the Silent Assassin has a tight rolling action, but an aggressive action can be added by using sudden jerks or a side-to-side darting action with long rod tip pulls. The suspending version is fantastic for slow retrieves just below the surface, and the sinking version is the lure to use when fish are lower in the water column.
