The 'John Weight' lead weight is a quick and easy trick to rapidly adjust the swimming depth of a lure (minnow, jerkbait, big bait, swimbait, squid jig). With its 'fragmentation grenade' shape, the checkered body design holds the stainless steel rod, thus minimizing the risk of losing your weight during casting, retrieves, or fighting a fish. Simply attach the 'John Weight' to the eyelet that determines the center of gravity of your lure, and you'll be able to fish deeper.
