With the JUNGLE BLASTER, the ILLEX team is finally releasing its first rubber jig. Long-awaited and the result of two years of work, our JUNGLE BLASTER has been meticulously designed and developed. Our all-terrain rubber jig will quickly become your new go-to for fishing cluttered areas: foliage, submerged deadwood, weedbeds and lily pad fields, riprap, etc. Its Bismuth-Tin head (an eco-friendly lead-free alloy) is shaped like a bullet, with the underside resembling a boat hull thanks to the addition of cheek-like material, ensuring great stability during descent, linear retrieve, and when resting on the bottom. Its perfect hydrodynamics allow it to be easily 'skipped' to present it deep into prime spots and to glide over obstacles. Primarily designed for aggressive fishing of pike, black bass, and other predatory fish (large perch and small catfish) in hostile environments, the JUNGLE BLASTER is armed with a strong 4/0 hook preceded by a brush with studied rigidity that perfectly serves its anti-snag role while ensuring optimal hook setting.
