The SLX XT is an improved version of Shimano's popular SLX casting reel. It retains the qualities that made the original model successful while incorporating the SVS Infinity braking system, which features an external adjustment dial for easily optimizing casting control. This technology significantly improves performance, especially with light lures.
Offering excellent value for money, the SLX XT combines robustness, power, and precision. Its fast and precise drag adjustment allows for fine-tuning casts and achieving great accuracy when conditions demand optimal control.
Like all SLX models, it is built around a lightweight HAGANE aluminum body, guaranteeing rigidity and efficiency during fights, with a notable advantage over composite bodies. It is also equipped with an S3D aluminum spool and a high-quality bearing on the spool shaft, ensuring great smoothness and increased precision, making the SLX XT a reel particularly suitable for light lure fishing.
