The Sleeper Gill is the perfect imitation of a small sunfish or bluegill. It features an internal head weighting that allows it to descend slowly through the water column while quickly activating its impressive paddle, which moves at the slightest retrieve, even at very low speeds. The Sleeper Gill also handles faster retrieves without losing its action or effectiveness. It has a strong, heavy-duty hook concealed between the two parts of the dorsal fin, which act as a weedguard, significantly reducing snags without compromising hook-up success.
