Made of high-density polyurethane foam, the Notobug is a very pleasant insect imitation to use when targeting Chub, Trout, or Bass, all three of which are particularly fond of such creatures!

The 22 F version can be easily used with a fly rod; for both sizes in general, an UL rod is recommended for long, precise casts.

Animated with small twitches of the rod tip, the Notobug's silicone filament legs can be made to vibrate, giving it the appearance of an insect that has fallen into the water and is struggling to survive. Another very good retrieval technique is to use a stop & go retrieve with the Notobug, causing it to dive and undulate just below the surface film. During pauses, it rises to the surface as if to breathe... that's when it often gets taken!

Finally, the ultimate technique to fool the wariest fish: leave it inert on the surface near vegetation arches or weed beds and do absolutely nothing!
