Initially designed for vertical zander fishing in cold water and for pelagic approaches (for larger sizes), the Mosquito quickly proved its worth in a wide variety of uses during our tests. Its lively rubber provides subtle vibrations during slow fishing and much more powerful vibrations during quick jerks. When fishing for seabass with a drift rig, but also when vertical fishing for pollock, the Mosquito landed us many beautiful fish by adapting the sizes to the sand eels present in the area. Available in five sizes, the smaller models work wonders for perch and zander (drop-shot, rubber jig, Texas rig...etc). The intermediate sizes, beyond "classic" vertical or retrieve use, are formidable trailers for your Boomer, Gennaker, and other Spinnaker. The largest sizes will bring in trophy fish when vertical fishing or on pelagic approaches, whether in freshwater (zander) or at sea (seabass, pollock, cod). The Mosquito is equipped with the SBC (Sugar Belly Concept) which gives it maximum mobility and allows it to be soaked with attractant when fishing gets tough.
