Description
Description
The Shimano Curado DC casting reel is a low-profile model featuring exclusive Digital Control (i-DC4) technology, which automatically regulates the spool's rotation speed during casting. Thanks to a built-in microcomputer, the brake adjusts in real-time to minimize backlashes and optimize casting distance and accuracy.
Very easy to use, the system is adjusted via an external dial offering several modes depending on the line type or fishing conditions: setting for braid or monofilament, for fluorocarbon, or for more difficult casting situations like wind. Once selected, the system continuously adjusts the spool's rotation to ensure smooth and controlled casts.
The Curado DC is built on a Hagane body that is both lightweight and very rigid, offering excellent grip and great strength. MicroModule Gear and X-Ship technologies ensure smooth and powerful retrieval, while the Cross Carbon drag provides precise control when fighting the most combative fish.
The S3D spool further enhances performance by reducing vibrations during rotation, allowing the Digital Control system to operate with maximum efficiency.
Available in 150 and 200 sizes with different retrieve ratios, the Shimano Curado DC is a modern and high-performance reel, ideal for anglers who want to enjoy advanced technology and perfectly controlled casts.
