No compromises have been made on the design, quality, and performance of the Low Profile Beast reels. They incorporate a gear and drag system specially designed to offer exceptional retrieval and drag power, ideal for casting large lures and fighting very large fish. Every detail has been considered to ensure reliability, robustness, and efficiency on the water.
They feature 7 stainless steel HPCR™ bearings + 1 roller bearing, an asymmetric frame with X2-Cräftic™ aluminum frame and side plates, a Next Gen Power Stack Carbon Matrix drag system offering up to 30 lb of power, a drag clicker, oversized Duragear Gen III brass gears, an Infini Brake hybrid braking system (magnetic and centrifugal), a 95 mm curved aluminum handle with an oversized knob, a GullWing™ side plate, as well as 5.8:1 and 7.5:1 gear ratios for retrievals of 69 cm and 89 cm per crank respectively.
